Our Story
In 1997, Dr. Grace Davis, a devoted pediatrician who loves children and community, opened Sylvester Pediatrics and Adolescent Medicine, nestled in the heart of Sylvester, Georgia. Inspired by her time at a Federally Qualified Health Center in Albany, Dr. Davis witnessed firsthand the healthcare challenges that rural communities faced.
Dr. Davis started our pediatric clinic with one fundamental goal: to bring high-quality pediatric care to the beautiful rural community of Sylvester. Her deep commitment to the well-being of her young patients has been the guiding force of our practice from the very beginning—and remains so today.
Growth
Our commitment to innovative and compassionate care has remained strong as we have grown. A significant milestone in our journey has been integrating Telehealth services, set to launch later this year. This initiative aims to connect our patients and surrounding clinics with pediatric specialists, ensuring that state-of-the-art care is accessible, even in our rural community.
Community
As a clinic we are actively involved with our community. We collaborate with the Worth County Head Start program, assist the local school system with developing individualized education plans, and support homeschooling families with their unique healthcare needs.

Our most recent and notable partnerships are with Georgia Rural Health at Mercer University School of Medicine. This collaboration speaks to our unwavering commitment to elevating rural healthcare.
